Tbilisi Today: Protest Continues

A series of anti-government protests are unfolding near the parliament building in Tbilisi, according to TASS. Several hundred people have gathered on the main Rustaveli Avenue, where the legislative building is located. Traffic on the avenue has been blocked.

Before the rally, a march was held by former and current government officials opposing the government's policies.

The situation at the rally is calm. Police units are stationed near the parliament building, but there are no special forces or heavy equipment present.
