This City Does Not Need Politicians Who Are Actors: Sarukhanyan
QP deputy Karen Sarukhanyan wrote on his page that yesterday in Gyumri, a person he does not know at all, with a theatrical demeanor and adventurous behavior, engaged in a fierce confrontation with one of the floral wreaths dedicated to the victims of the earthquake.
“In the current situation, those who have plundered our city for years, who have numerous criminal cases against them, and who are associated with illegal property ownership, have begun to become active in Gyumri. These individuals, representing subcultures characterized by changing with rainbow colors, have one goal: to attempt to enter politics alongside resolving their criminal cases, later characterizing it all as political persecution. Dear Gyumri residents, our city will no longer accept those who meddle in our affairs, whom you know very well—actors engaged in politics have no place in this city.
Gyumri needs a strong community leader and a capable political team that thinks about Gyumri residents, not pursuing their own interests. We need someone who loves Gyumri, not one who plunders it, and is genuinely concerned about the development and welfare of Gyumri. You will have the opportunity to elect such a leadership by actively participating in the preliminary elections for the acting head of the Gyumri community, and later by consolidating it during the extraordinary local government elections in Gyumri.”
