Armenia's Decision Was Not Against Israel, Says Vahan Kostanyan
The decision of the Armenian government to recognize the State of Palestine was not directed against Israel, stated Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, during a panel discussion held within the framework of the Manama Dialogue.
“The Armenian government's decision to recognize the State of Palestine was not aimed at Israel. This decision was made for both Palestinians and Israelis, as we see that the possible path for both peoples to live in peace and stability is through the solution based on the principle of ‘two states’,” said Kostanyan.
