The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, has denied the fact of a phone conversation between the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. “There was no conversation,” emphasized Peskov.

According to the publication, the topic of discussion was achieving peace in Europe. Additionally, the newly elected President of the United States expressed interest in further conversations and a prompt resolution of the Ukraine conflict.
