Armenia Has No Room for Concessions, Says Alen Simonyan
The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, believes that the negotiation process surrounding the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace treaty must not be allowed to reach an impasse.
“And that is what those people, those states that are hostile towards Armenia, and perhaps Azerbaijan, want,” he stated in an interview with Azatutyun.
When asked if some believe that Armenia might find a way out of the current situation through additional concessions, Simonyan responded, “What concessions are we talking about? Armenia has come to the threshold of international law and its sovereignty and has no more room for concessions.”
