Will Putin Visit Baku? Details from the Kremlin

The decision regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin's participation in the climate conference to be held in Baku has not yet been made, said his press secretary Dmitry Peskov. He emphasized that Russia will definitely be represented.

“No decision has been made yet,” the Kremlin representative told RIA Novosti in response to a question about Vladimir Putin's attendance at the conference.

The COP29 climate conference is set to take place in Baku from November 11-22. In July, during the SCO summit, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev invited all heads of the organization to the conference, including Vladimir Putin. A total of representatives from 198 countries are expected to participate in the event.
