Trump's Promise to Zelensky
A meeting took place in New York between U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Trump announced that if elected, he is ready to work with Democrats to end the war in Ukraine. He expressed hope that by the time of his inauguration, he would find a 'good' solution for both Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
Zelensky, for his part, noted that they share a 'common view: the war must end, Putin cannot win, but Ukraine must triumph.' Trump emphasized, 'We will discuss and see what we can achieve.'
