This Is What Will Happen: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that there will be tens of thousands of casualties if Ukraine is not allowed to strike deep into Russia with Western weapons. According to The Guardian, Zelensky made this statement during an interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America.

Zelensky has been asking Western allies for months to allow Ukraine to hit Russian territory with Western missiles, including American Atacms and British Storm Shadows. He is expected to reiterate these requests during his diplomatic visit to the U.S. this week, when he meets with President Joe Biden.

“Putin will definitely continue to destroy us, kill people, kill children. He will act like this. We will lose thousands of schools and tens of thousands of lives. This is what will happen,” the Ukrainian leader stated.

He expressed gratitude to the American people for their support and assistance so far, stating, “We are closer to peace than we think.”
