Azerbaijan Calls on Armenia to Take Urgent Steps
Azerbaijan has laid down the foundations for the agenda of normalizing relations with Armenia. This was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the UN headquarters.
"Azerbaijan has established the framework for the normalization of relations with Armenia, based on mutual recognition and respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the post-conflict period," emphasized the head of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
Bayramov highlighted that Azerbaijan has entered a new era, restoring its rights to sovereignty and territorial integrity as protected under the UN Charter. "Building on the progress made during bilateral negotiations, we call for urgent steps to be taken to eliminate the remaining obstacles, emphasizing the necessary political will and the manifestation of responsibility," he added.
