Sequential Earthquakes in Turkey
On September 18, two sequential earthquakes were recorded in various provinces of Turkey. According to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the epicenter of the first tremor was in the Pütügüre area of Malatya province. The magnitude of the earthquake was registered at 4.5 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the second earthquake was located in the Çelikhan district of eastern Adıyaman province, with a magnitude of 4.1. There have been no reports of damages or casualties.
