The West Will Be Drawn into War if Allowed, Says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a broadcast on Russia-1 that the West would be directly drawn into war against Russia if it permits Ukraine to strike the Russian Federation with long-range missiles. He noted that this would change the nature and scale of the conflict.

“If that decision is made, it will mean nothing less than the direct involvement of NATO countries, the USA, and European nations in the Ukrainian war,” Putin said, adding that Russia would be forced to make “appropriate decisions.”
