Astana Ready to Provide Platform for Yerevan-Baku Negotiations
Kazakhstan is prepared to continue providing a platform for negotiations between Yerevan and Baku. This was stated by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart.
"The head of state confirmed the Kazakh side's readiness to continue offering the Almaty platform for negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan aimed at signing a peace treaty," Tokayev's press service reported.
It is noteworthy that on May 10-11, negotiations between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan took place in Almaty with the mediation of Kazakhstan.
