We Strongly Condemn This and Consider It Unacceptable: Peskov
The United States continues to exert pressure on Russia and its citizens; however, Moscow deems this unacceptable and defends its interests. This was commented by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, regarding the new sanctions imposed by the U.S.
“Washington continues to apply pressure on Russia and Russian citizens. It continues to exert pressure even on Russian media outlets that inform both our citizens within the country and the international community about what is happening on our part. Washington does not even allow our presentations to be accessible to anyone,” he stated.
Peskov emphasized that the actions from the U.S. are nothing but blatant pressure and yet another attempt to undermine Russia. “We strongly condemn this and consider it unacceptable, but we are aware of the reality in which we exist and act in accordance with our interests,” concluded the Kremlin representative.
