Armenia's Ministry of Defense Responds to Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry Statement
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has once again disseminated misinformation. The statement from Azerbaijan’s Ministry suggests that on August 28 at around 18:30, the Armed Forces of Armenia opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the southwestern section of the border, which does not correspond to reality.
It is important to remind that the Armenian Prime Minister’s Office proposed to establish a joint mechanism for investigating instances of ceasefire violations and any related information between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to which Azerbaijan has not yet responded.
