What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions on August 27-28, in the afternoon. From August 29-31, dry weather is forecasted.
This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
The wind will be coming from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, with expected gusts of 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. From August 26-29, evening hours will see wind intensification in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn at speeds of 14-18 m/s.
On August 27, the air temperature in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik will gradually rise by 2-4 degrees. In Yerevan, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the city during the evening hours of August 27. From August 28-31, dry weather is anticipated.
Evening hours from August 26-31 will see wind intensification again at speeds of 14-18 m/s. On August 27, daytime temperatures in the capital will range from 34 to 36 degrees, while evening temperatures will register between +27 and +29 degrees.
