The United States does not intend to transfer F-16 fighters to Ukraine in the near future. This was stated by Frank Kendall, the US Air Force Secretary, in an interview with the Helsingin Sanomat newspaper, according to TASS.
"I am not aware of any such thing, but that idea is not ruled out," Kendall said.
According to him, Ukraine's current primary needs will be met with the assistance of NATO countries such as Denmark and the Netherlands.
"The United States is helping train pilots in cooperation with its partners, and significant progress will be made in training next year," Kendall added.
