Netanyahu Confirms Israel Accepts and Supports Proposal to Overcome Disputes: Blinken

During a very productive meeting today with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he confirmed that Israel accepts and supports the proposal to overcome disputes. Now Hamas must do the same.

This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Earlier, the Israeli Prime Minister's office indicated that the meeting with Secretary Blinken was viewed from the perspective of the Israeli authorities as having been "positive" and held in a "good atmosphere."

"The meeting lasted about three hours. The prime minister reaffirmed Israel's support for the American proposal to release hostages, which also takes into account Israel's security needs," stated the announcement from Netanyahu's office.
