Video: Vladimir Putin Arrives in Azerbaijan
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has arrived in Azerbaijan on a state visit, reports RIA Novosti. He was greeted by Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia.
Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will discuss the issues surrounding the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement in Baku and will sign several documents.
Earlier, the Kremlin announced that Putin would be in Azerbaijan for a state visit from August 18 to 19.
