Rain Expected in Some Regions: Weather Update for Armenia

From August 15 to 17, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in several regions of the Republic of Armenia, particularly during the night and after noon. From August 18 to 19, dry weather is forecasted. This information was provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

The wind will be coming from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with possible gusts of 18-23 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evening hours, wind gusts are anticipated in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn, reaching 17-21 m/s.

The air temperature is expected to remain relatively unchanged. In Yerevan, from August 15 to 19, dry weather is anticipated, with evening wind gusts of 16-20 m/s. On August 15, temperatures are projected to reach 32-34 degrees Celsius during the day, while in the evening, temperatures will register around +26 to +28 degrees.
