Georgia Warns of Potential 'Second Front' Opening
If the opposition wins the autumn elections, Georgia could become a 'second front' in just a few days, warned Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in an interview with the Rustavi 2 television channel, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“As for the dangers, if you theoretically imagine the coming to power of the united ‘National Movement’ (the opposition), for example, by November—after the elections—I assure you that in not two or three months, but in just a few days, Georgia will become a second front,” said the politician.
The Prime Minister added that he could guarantee such developments based on existing information and past experiences.
