Trump Announces Meeting with Netanyahu in Mar-a-Lago
Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week in Florida. “I am looking forward to Thursday’s meeting with Netanyahu in Mar-a-Lago,” Trump was quoted by U.S. media.
He noted that during his presidency, “we had peace and stability in the Middle East region.” Trump added that “peace and security will return” if he wins the November 2024 elections.
The former president, speaking about various conflicts around the world, stated that they must come to an end. “Millions of people are dying, and Kamala Harris (the U.S. Vice President, whom Joe Biden, who has stepped out of the race, urged to run as a presidential candidate for the Democratic Party) cannot stop that in any way,” Trump emphasized.
At the same time, according to U.S. media, on Thursday, Netanyahu will also meet with U.S. President Joe Biden.
