Fire in Residential Building in Artashat: 6 Individuals, Including Children, Hospitalized
Today, on July 19, an emergency incident occurred in the Ararat region. At approximately 12:25 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a call reporting that a fire had broken out in one of the apartments of Building 7 on Yerevan Street in Artashat.
According to Shamshyan.com, firefighters and rescuers first prevented and then extinguished the fire that had erupted in an apartment on the third floor of the building.
As a result of the fire, six residents of the Ararat region were transferred to Artashat Medical Center: 37-year-old Arevik Ch., 3-month-old Ara M., 57-year-old Rouzanna Kianosyant, 40-year-old Narine Poghosyan, 18-year-old Arthur Muradyan, and 22-year-old Hasmik Melkonyan.
A criminal investigation has been initiated by the investigative department regarding the incident.
