France Will Maintain Military Support to Armenia Regardless of Election Outcomes, Bloomberg
France will maintain military support to Armenia regardless of the outcome of the snap parliamentary elections, Bloomberg reports.
“Azerbaijan is escalating its conflict with France, which is unfolding in French territories in the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean, and Latin America, due to the weaponry that the European country has supplied to Armenia,” notes Bloomberg.
According to the newspaper, a Baku-based initiative group, linked to the Azerbaijani government, is advocating for the cessation of Paris' management in many foreign regions, supporting independence movements in areas such as French Polynesia and New Caledonia.
“It seems the confrontation will intensify, as France, home to the world’s third-largest Armenian diaspora, signed a new arms supply agreement with Yerevan. Paris is expected to maintain military support for Armenia regardless of the outcomes of the snap parliamentary elections appointed by President Emmanuel Macron,” Bloomberg reports.
