Earthquake in Japan with a Magnitude of 5.4
A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck in central Japan, as reported by the Japan Meteorological Agency. The epicenter of the earthquake was located near the eastern shores of Chiba Prefecture, adjacent to Tokyo. The source was at a depth of 50 kilometers. There are no reported casualties or damage at this time.
In the initial minutes following the earthquake, a tsunami warning was issued; however, it was later rescinded.
