Ministry of Internal Affairs Comments on Publication Regarding 'Pashinyan's Motorcade Hitting a Citizen at Terrifying Speed'
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has issued a clarification regarding a recent social media publication.
On July 2, it was reported that 'Nikol Pashinyan's motorcade, at terrifyingly high speed, accompanied by police officers who were shouting continuously and unnecessarily through loudspeakers, hit yet another citizen near the intersection of Mantashyan and Garegin Nzhdeh streets, who barely escaped.'
The Ministry states that this claim is not true. No incident has occurred at the intersection of Mantashyan and Garegin Nzhdeh streets. The special unit of the traffic police ensured the safe movement of vehicles, the motorcade, and citizens.
We urge everyone to refrain from spreading unverified and false information that does not correspond to reality,” the statement reads.
