When Will the Air Temperature Rise and What to Expect Until Then: Weather in Armenia
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, from July 2-3, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in many regions, with hail possible in some areas on the 6th after noon. On July 2, heavy downpours are likely in certain areas. From July 4-5, dry weather is anticipated.
The information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. The wind will be from the northeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with an expected increase to 19-24 m/s during thunderstorms.
The air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 5-7 degrees from July 3-5, and by 10-12 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik. In Yerevan, short-term rains and thunderstorms are also expected on July 2-3, with heavy rainfall in some areas on July 2. Wind gusts during thunderstorms may reach 18-23 m/s.
On July 2, the daytime temperature in the capital will be 26-28 degrees, while evening temperatures are expected to register between +19 and +21 degrees.
