VIDEO: Performer Nearly Burned Alive During Fire Show in Russia
During a Youth Day celebration in Lyubertsy, near Moscow, a performer nearly burned alive during a fire show. SHOT reports that a flammable liquid-filled backpack caught fire on the girl during her performance.
The incident occurred near the administrative building where guests had gathered to watch the fiery spectacle. Suddenly, the backpack of one of the performers ignited due to the flammable liquid it contained. Within seconds, the flames engulfed the girl, but she managed to react swiftly by throwing off the burning backpack, while colleagues rushed to help extinguish the flames.
The girl was hospitalized with burn injuries; no one else was harmed. The condition of the performer has not been disclosed.
