Bus Collides with Train in Slovakia: Casualties Reported
A passenger bus has collided with a train in Slovakia, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals and injuries to at least five others, according to the Slovak Emergency Medical Service.
The incident occurred yesterday, June 27, near the town of Nové Zámky, located in southwestern Slovakia. The train was on its way from Prague to Budapest. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
All fatalities were passengers on the bus. Five ambulances and three rescue helicopters have been dispatched to the scene, as reported by the emergency center's press release.
