VIDEO: Body of a Man Found Under the Wreck of a Train Car in Russia - Details of the Accident
A man's body has been discovered under a derailed train car in Komi. This is reported by the press service of the Western Interregional Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for Transport. The investigators found the body while examining the accident site in the section between Inta and Ugolny.
The passenger train No. 511 from Vorkuta to Novorossiysk derailed with eight of its carriages going off the tracks in the Komi region at 18:12 Moscow time the previous day. As a result of the incident, 46 people were injured. The accident occurred just a few minutes after the train departed from the Inta station. This train consisted of 14 carriages. Experts have preliminarily attributed the cause of the railway accident to track degradation caused by heavy precipitation.
