Elon Musk's Company Signs Contract for the Destruction of the International Space Station
The American National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has selected Elon Musk's SpaceX to deorbit the International Space Station (ISS) after its operational period ends in 2030. This information comes from the BBC.
The California-based company will construct a specialized device tasked with pushing the 430-ton orbital platform into the Pacific Ocean at the beginning of the next decade. According to the contract signed between NASA and SpaceX, the cost of the operations will amount to approximately $850 million.
