Investigating Injured Journalists in Baghramyan, Authorities Question Links to Movement Leader
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that according to information received by the newspaper, as part of the criminal proceedings initiated regarding the use of sound grenades by police on June 12 on Baghramyan Boulevard and the clashes that occurred, it has now come the turn to interrogate a number of journalists and operators who were victims of the incident.
According to our sources, investigators are asking representatives of the media what connection they have with the leader of the movement, Bagrat Srbazan, and whether they attended Baghramyan Boulevard at his urging or interest, and if they had any phone conversations with the leader. The representatives of the media interviewed by investigators responded to the cross-examination, but with similar content, stating that they went to carry out their professional duties, which they do in all cases and situations, regardless of who the leader is, as it is a significant event in the country, and the media report on what is happening.
