Body of Missing Azerbaijani Soldier Found in Nakhchivan
The body of the missing Azerbaijani serviceman Jayhun Huseynov has been discovered. This was announced by the press service of Azerbaijan.
"The serviceman's body was found near the village of Gyunnut in the Sharur district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic," the statement said.
It is noted that the serviceman went missing under unknown circumstances on June 9.
Earlier, it was reported that Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense announced that private Jayhun Huseynov had gone missing under unknown circumstances in the direction of the Sadarak district of Nakhchivan. There were rumors in the press that the Azerbaijani soldier had crossed into Armenia near Vayots Dzor (Areni) and had been detained.
The RA National Security Service reported that there are no factual data regarding the possible crossing of the Armenian border by the Azerbaijani serviceman.
