An unknown individual has attacked Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in Copenhagen.
According to Ekstra Bladet, a man approached Frederiksen and struck her while the government leader was in the Kultorvet Square in the old town. The assailant has been detained. Local police have not provided further details.
The Prime Minister is doing well, but she is reported to be "shocked," as stated by a source familiar with the situation, according to Ekstra Bladet.
