French billionaire and CEO of the LVMH conglomerate, Bernard Arnault, has surpassed American entrepreneur Elon Musk to become the world's richest person after a nearly 1.5% increase in his company's stock price. This is reported by Forbes.
With a net worth of $210.1 billion, Arnault has moved ahead of the Tesla CEO, whose wealth stands at $208.6 billion. On Thursday, Arnault's fortune increased by $7.7 billion, following a 1.45% rise in LVMH's stock price, reaching $830 per share (€763.50).
