Marriage and Divorce Rates in Armenia: AVK
In the period from January to April 2024, compared to the previous year, the number of marriages in Armenia has decreased, while the number of divorces has increased, reports Aysor.
According to the AVK, the number of marriages has decreased by 82 in the first four months of 2024 compared to 2023. A total of 5,186 marriages were registered in the country.
In comparison, the number of divorces has increased by 59 from January to April 2023. In the first four months of 2024, there were 1,479 divorce cases recorded against 1,420 cases reported during the same period in 2023, alongside 1,000 marriages registered.
