Russian Border Guards Withdraw from Nerkin Hand, Says Syunik Governor

The Russian border guards have withdrawn from Nerkin Hand in the Syunik province. This was stated by Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan to reporters.

"Where they had been stationed after the 44-day war, they have now withdrawn, and there are no Russian border guards in Nerkin Hand anymore," he said.

When asked if there are areas where they have not withdrawn, the governor replied that he could not say for sure. "Look, if there is some place where they were, maybe 80 percent have pulled out, while others may remain until the next ones leave, I can't say for certain, but they have withdrawn from Nerkin Hand," Ghukasyan added.

According to him, nothing is happening in Syunik, except for the withdrawal of the Russian border guards.
