Absurdity and Foolishness: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has called the assumptions that foreign military personnel in Ukraine aim to "liberate Ukrainian troops" absurd. "To hold some units along the border under the guise of liberating them (to send them to the battlefield) is absurdity and foolishness. That’s all," the president stated.

It is worth recalling that in the early hours of February 24, 2022, President Vladimir Putin announced that he had made a decision regarding a special military operation in Ukraine because the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics had requested assistance. Hostilities in Ukraine continue to this day.
