800,000 People Forced to Leave Their Homes Due to Israeli Operations in Rafah
Philippe Lazzarini, the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees in the Middle East, has stated that 800,000 people have been forced to leave the region since the onset of Israeli operations in Rafah.
“Nearly half of Rafah's population, or 800,000 people, are on the move, having fled after Israeli forces launched military operations in the area on May 6,” Lazzarini wrote on his social media platform X.
