Governor and Senior Officials Offer Money and Compensation to Residents in Kiran
Governor and senior officials in Kiran have been offering money to local residents. This was reported by MP Garnik Danielyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, during a phone conversation with Bishop Bagrat while at Saint Anna Church, where the results of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement were being summarized.
“In Kiran, the governor and senior officials have proposed money and compensation to people, but the locals have rejected this offer, stating that we will not sell our homes and our homeland for money. The struggle continues in Kiran; the people are determined. The residents of Kiran are inspired by the ongoing protests in Yerevan, and they too will fight in Kiran,” he stated.
