Israel Begins Evacuation of Palestinian Civilians from Rafah

Israel has begun evacuating Palestinian civilians from Rafah ahead of a ground operation, Reuters reports, citing Israeli army radio. Earlier, an Israeli attack on Rafah resulted in the deaths of more than 20 people.

According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli Defense Forces' assault has damaged 11 residential buildings in the central and eastern areas of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Qatari media has reported that among the deceased are children.
