The Human Rights Defender Met with David Tonoyan, Who Expressed His Concerns
The Human Rights Defender has met with David Tonoyan; this was reported by the office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.
“In response to inquiries from several media outlets, we would like to inform you that Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan conducted a visit on April 23 to the ‘Yerevan-Center’ penitentiary to meet with David Tonoyan.
During the private conversation, among other issues, he presented his concerns regarding the criminal proceedings, as well as issues related to the right to freedom and personal inviolability to the Defender. The Defender was accompanied by representatives of her staff. The meeting was confidential.”
