Iran's Foreign Ministry on Recent Agreement Between Azerbaijan and Armenia
We welcome the recent agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was stated by the spokesperson of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, regarding the border demarcation agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Tavush region.
“We welcome the agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Continuous efforts by both countries are necessary for establishing sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, to resolve border issues peacefully, and to respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he said.
