Ijevan Municipality Has Not Received Resignation Request from Kiran Administrative Leader
The Ijevan Municipality has commented on the information regarding the intention of Kamo Shahinyan, the head of the Kiran administrative unit, to resign. In a conversation with an Armenian News Agency ('Armenpress') correspondent, Lia Jagharyan, the press secretary of the consolidated Ijevan community, stated that, as of now, no resignation request has been received from the Kiran administrative leader.
Earlier, several media outlets reported that Kamo Shahinyan, the head of the Kiran settlement in the Tavush Province, announced his desire to resign, which he expressed to people gathered near the village council.
