Pashinyan Discusses Border Demarcation Process with Toivo Klaar
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Toivo Klaar, the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia. The meeting was also attended by Vasilis Maragos, head of the EU Delegation to Armenia.
Regional issues were addressed, including negotiations regarding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the border demarcation process. Questions related to Armenia-EU cooperation and its further development were discussed.
Toivo Klaar reiterated that the EU fully supports the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiation process aimed at achieving a comprehensive and lasting resolution, as well as the agreement to initiate the border demarcation process based on the 1991 Almaty Declaration.
