A Message to Tehran: Don’t Do That Again, Or You’ll Face Catastrophe – American General

The Israeli attack on Iran serves as a warning to Tehran that Israeli forces can easily bypass Iranian air defense systems. This was stated by retired Major General Mark McCarty of the U.S. Army in an interview with CNN, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“The Israelis had to take revenge, but at the same time, that retaliation was a message: don’t do that again, or you’ll face catastrophe,” McCarty’s remarks were quoted by the channel.

The former American general also noted that Israel should remain vigilant, as Iran may strike back again.

According to American media reports, on Friday night, Israel launched a “limited” retaliatory strike against targets in Iran. Explosions were reported in the vicinity of Isfahan city.

The Iranian state agency IRIB reported that air defense systems were activated in several provinces of the country due to drone flights. Tasnim agency stated that nuclear facilities in Isfahan province are completely safe. Furthermore, three Iranian officials confirmed to the New York Times that the targets of the strikes were located at a military base near Isfahan.
