I Learned from the Media: Anahit Avanesyan on Search Operations
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, stated that she is unaware of the search operations conducted in her ministry. She made this remark during a conversation with journalists, noting that she learned about the incident from the media while in a government meeting.
“I have not been questioned in the context of any case recently,” the minister emphasized.
It is noteworthy that earlier, the Investigative Committee had reported that search operations were carried out today at the Ministry of Health of Armenia and one of the medical centers, reportedly at the 'Wigmore Clinic.' Director Zaven Koloyan has either been arrested or taken in for questioning. According to the 'Hraparak' newspaper, the operations are related to the allocation of state orders in the healthcare sector.
