Sargis Galstyan Subjected to Pressure and Persecution by Azerbaijanis
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that Sargis Galstyan, who remained in Stepanakert, was arrested shortly after moving to Armenia on charges of espionage and has reportedly faced pressure and persecution from Azerbaijanis.
It is revealed that when Azerbaijanis demolished the building of the Artsakh parliament, and a photo documenting this barbarity was circulated online, Azerbaijani security forces raided Sargis Galstyan's home, conducting a search and seizing mobile phones, suspecting that they had taken the photo and shared it with the international community as evidence against Azerbaijan.
After that, they began to monitor the couple, which ultimately led to their decision to return to Armenia with his wife seven months after the handover of Artsakh. This decision was also influenced by the relocation of the International Committee of the Red Cross office in Stepanakert to the Azerbaijani city of Barda.
Realizing this and understanding that their safety was not guaranteed, the Galstyan family set out on their journey.
