Health Deteriorates for Children Trapped in Parliamentary Lounge Due to Pashinyan's 'Shielding'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'Yesterday, the government's five-year program for 2023 was discussed in the parliament, where government members, led by Nikol Pashinyan, were present from the morning. During a session that resumed after a long break, Pashinyan decided to ascend to the journalists' lounge, where a group of teenagers from the regions was following the session that day.
Accompanied by numerous bodyguards, the prime minister was surrounded by reporters when he exited the lounge, trying to obtain answers to several questions from the head of state. As a result, for nearly an hour, two dozen teenagers were forced to remain locked in the lounge, which is a small, airless space without windows. During that time, they made several attempts to leave the lounge, but Pashinyan's 'shielding' had firmly closed the lounge doors from the outside, as the prime minister stood with his back to the doors.
Fortunately, during the press briefing, Pashinyan became agitated and left midway through the Q&A session. Later, we learned that several teenagers in the lounge had experienced a deterioration in their health, and had the Q&A dragged on longer, the consequences might have been worse.'
