We Are Committed to Supporting Peace Talks Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: U.S. State Department

The U.S. State Department has responded to a query from "Voice of America" regarding U.S.-France cooperation in the South Caucasus. "The United States, in collaboration with our EU partners, is committed to promoting a peaceful and prosperous future for the South Caucasus region. We are dedicated to supporting the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Direct dialogue is key to resolving issues and achieving sustainable peace. We continue to engage through bilateral means, with partners, and through multilateral organizations to facilitate dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan," the U.S. State Department stated.

It is noteworthy that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was recently in Paris, where he met with French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné on April 2. In a joint press conference following the meeting, the French foreign minister noted that they also discussed Armenia’s territorial integrity, which, according to him, is "currently contested by Azerbaijan."
