Turkey's Foreign Ministry Calls on Armenia
Turkey's Foreign Ministry has called on Armenia to provide accurate mine maps to Azerbaijan. This statement was made in a declaration by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The declaration notes that Turkey shares Azerbaijan's concerns regarding the large number of mines found in areas liberated from occupation, emphasizing the security risks involved.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that strong support for countries engaged in mine clearance will continue. It is worth mentioning that the Armenian side has repeatedly stated its willingness to transfer the maps to Azerbaijan; however, the Azerbaijani side has expressed dissatisfaction and continues to demand 'accurate' maps.
